On the morning of September 10, Zaozhuang University held a work meeting in Conference Room 532 of the Mingli Building to advance its planned “English + Chinese” dual-degree project with Volgograd State University and move the partnership toward implementation. Chu Fumin, Member of the CPC Zaozhuang University Committee and Vice President of the university, attended the meeting and delivered remarks.

In her remarks, Chu Fumin pointed out that the university attaches great importance to the cooperation. In April, Gao Feng, Secretary of the CPC Zaozhuang University Committee, led a delegation to visit Volgograd State University, where the two sides agreed on a cooperation plan. Following multiple rounds of online consultations, the two sides reached consensus on cooperation models, training objectives, degree conferral, and other matters.

Chu Fumin emphasized that the student training plan must comply with applicable laws and regulations and be feasible in practice. The university should establish clear procedures and oversight throughout the training process, ensure effective credit recognition and coordinate the two institutions’ periods of study, and maintain a training process that is complete, verifiable, and traceable. She added that the university must thoroughly assess potential quality risks, build an integrated quality assurance framework spanning teaching quality, student status and records, and academic supervision, and refine contingency plans for risk management.

All departments should focus on the agreed goals and priorities, work to launch the project as soon as practicable, and ensure that it delivers tangible results, thereby supporting the high-quality development of the university’s international engagement.

Heads of the Academic Affairs Office, International Exchange Office (School of International Education), School of Chinese Language and Literature (School of Media and Communications), and School of Foreign Languages (Department of College English) attended the meeting.
